| hey wes i would like to put in a request for one of those motors from esslinger...if people are worried about getting tires for this race just go to a place that sells tires and ask to purchase some of their used tires.. some might just give them to you so they dont have to pay for their disposal.. as long as their not dry rotted or nothing this might be the way to go... my rookie year i did this and it saved alot of money.. i have purchased only two tires the last two years so they do last.... the cost for the drivers to switch to hoosiers would have a negative effect on the class.. lets say at a minimum 6 tires to have spares (at whatever price they are) example 6x$70 thats probably with tax and getting them mounted would be over 475 bucks at a minimum... i thought we wanted the class to be affordable????...

| Wes, the word outlaw is what kept me from bringing my cars there. When myself and a few other guys at New Paris heard that we said we wouldnt come to them. It just sounds like a run what u brung race. We will be up to a couple of the races this year with both our cars.

Grubby -- I am glad that you may be reconsidering. Be sure that no matter what we decide for the "Outlaw" shows that it will be a very good time!
Again thank you for keeping this professional!!

Since the minis are sponsored by Smith enterprises, they should give everybody free tires, radials and Hossiers, like Goodyear does.

| rookie66, no I am not building a truck, but we have an S10 sitting in the shop. It is a pet project for my dad. He is a Chevy guy and was hoping to get it to run with the Mustangs. It looks like it might get dusted off this year and see what we can do with it. I don't know what your Ranger weighs, but our S10 weighs about 2900 without the driver! It is cool to see something other than mustangs on the track.

| I don't know what it weighs yet,but I'm thinking about 4000 lbs,I'm hoping it'll be like the old days when guys ran the big cars to keep from getting pushed around! (just kidding) This is our first year,I like the looks of the trucks, and we're just looking to have fun,we almost ran an automatic,we had a direct drive no convertor available to us. At the drivers meeting there was another rookie,I thought he said he was gonna run a truck, maybe we can get enough for a B feature all trucks.

Hey everybody,I have the answer!!!
Wes has 30 identical ministocks built, each driver pays a thousand dollars and you just show up Saturdays and drive,he could call it AROC or something like that.

| rookie66. My dad is too stubborn to think that. Worse case scenario is he drops a 2.3 in it and goes. We will have to wait and see.
