Ok I didn't see anyone post on here yet about how good the first night of racing went! So I'll be the first.

From my point of view in the center of the track, driving around the pits and from time to time visiting the General Admission side I thought it was a good first night. It was boarderline chilly, but hey there was no rain. There was a medium size crowd and a pretty good amount of cars to put on a great show.
I thought each race from the heats to the features were pretty entertaining.
The announcer was entertaining to listen to and the gentleman interviewing the feature winners was doing pretty good for his first night.
The track crew and tow trucks were on their game and kept the show moving quickly.
So all in all I think Opening night was pretty good.

I thought that the first night went ok.. I wish we could of had a few more cars, but it was opening night and the crowd was'nt to bad..
It will be interesting to see how it goes when we are competing against baer field and also the u.s.a. mods and c.r.a. series..Hopefully others will show up that did not have cars ready..
I saw Jasper in crowd so i am taking it that he is not ready.. Also talked to Kale and he is a week or so away..What happened to Fred in hot laps??
The Parker kid was mighty impressive for his first night in the mini stock class and hopefully Zac Sipe and racer mini 7 will come back once in a while... That is my take on the evening Kevin.. Also the dollar menu a good deal and glad to see Bud Select as a choice..Guess rumors were not true, i did not get in free..As a matter of fact Crimson tried to charge me double..She is about as ornry as that J.Poe..lol..

I talked to several drivers that hope to have their cars ready in the next week or so. I was surprised that we did not have more mods but found out later that night that another track had a big show and that some of the drivers that would have been hear was trying for the big big money! I was assured that they will be here next week. I really thought that we would have about 17 Supers and I guess with 16 on the grounds I was close, too bad that 2 of them broke before racing. I never did hear what happened to Fred but he told me earlier on Saturday that he wasn't sure what was going to happen.

Glad to hear that you were there Rowzer.... and I am really glad to hear that Crimson tried to charge you double!! LOL

Thank you to all that attended the event and we look forward to better weather and another great show this weekend!!

I wasn't able to make the show on Sat. but I noticed that Justin Oberlin pulled out a 2nd place finish in the feature. CONGRATS!!!
I do know that a couple of weekends ago they had some kinks to work out with the car when I was there at practice. Looks like they have things going in the right direction. That ought to be a moral booster!! Just keep pluggin away.

Not too shabby for the very first feature attempt!! again, CONGRATS!!

We think Saturday was great,we had a ball.Had some problems, but for the very first time for Luke,I was very happy.
We were really ecstatic about Justin Oberlins heat win and second in the feature. They work very hard and definately deserve it. They maintain three cars.
Congrats also to Logan Parker, great job.And not to forget Jerry Slone's new track record.
It looks to be a very exciting year.

Lets not forget the 66 FREE HOTDOGS that Thomas Racing provided to the fans!! When I announced that I thought the tower was going to fall!! LOL People were jumping over seats to get to the concessions.

Thank you Randy for doing that, it was great!!

i really didn't get a chance to watch much racing, but i was impressed on how all of the rookies drove in our feature.. when zac and i came up on them they did a fairly good job of not effecting the outcome of the race.. zac and i had a pretty good battle going on with some good ole door to door action, but we never touched once.. we were very close many times and i had a blast racing with him and hope he comes back.. i got around logan in the first lap or two and didn't see him the rest of the race, but heard he was moving thru traffic very well..
